Uuups!

I woke up to sunshine this morning, got ready, rode my bike to Mission St to catch the University's bike trailer up the hill, went to the library, and the doors were closed. "What's going on," I said, "the library doesn't open before 9 now?"
"No, 8AM," said the woman, who unlocked the door for me, "it's 8 o'clock." I was one full hour early without realizing it!
In retrospect, it should have been a dead give-away that he cat was unusually benign this morning.

Tonight I might go see "Young Frankenstein" The Downtown Association Santa Cruz is promoting a "Thursday Night Out" during the summer with free concerts and a free outdoor movie screening. I can't make it to the concert because of Pilates, but I'll try to make it to the movie. I have not seen it since it came out, so I'll go & check if it still deserves the 93% on the Tomatometer!!
